Hardtail frame for Stephen. Nothing too flashy, just a simple frame with a custom fit ready to hit some NWA trails. Standard Warhorn geo with a 67° head tube and 75°ish seat tube. 432mm chainstays.

Had @onermaa ‘s Warhorn in the shop recently for a new custom rack, rack mounts and a little refresh. This was the first hardtail SSS I built and despite the well developed patina after an experimental clear coat this frame seems to be holding up just fine. Andrew has some big objectives planned for 2025 and we’re honored to have him riding an SSS!

Andrew wanted to ditch the seat bag and add a rack that played nice with his dropper. It’s built for carrying panniers on the sides and a dry bag on the top deck. After building a few racks in the past I’ve learned some things and added a few features to help improve it’s usability and overall function. It’s made with 5/16” stainless steel tubing to keep a minimal aesthetic, has a front bar to keep luggage from sliding forward on rough descents and uses 1/8” stainless tig rod to grid the upper deck and keep bags from pooching through as well as to help retain straps when the bags are pulled off. Hopefully this serves Andrew well in his endeavors, he’s sure to put it to the test!
